Privacy Policy
The short version
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and asks you for nothing. There are no forms and no accounts. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can reply. We do not sell your information, and we never have.
Who we are
This site is operated by Ad Victoriam Consulting, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company operating from Washington, D.C. We are the controller of the information described on this page. Write to contact@advictoriam.co with any question about it.
What this site collects
Nothing directly. There are no accounts, no forms, no comment sections, no trackers, and no cookies.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs for security and operations: the address making the request, the page requested, the browser type, and the time. Those logs are held by the provider for a limited period, and we do not use them to identify visitors.
The pages load three typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser fetches the font files from Google's servers, so Google receives your address and the address of the page you are viewing. Google states that these requests are not used for advertising or profiling and are not tied to any Google account.
If you write to us, we receive your address and whatever you send, and we use it to reply and to conduct whatever business follows. Our email runs on Google Workspace. We keep correspondence as long as the business relationship and our records require, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use it for targeted advertising or automated profiling, and we do not disclose it outside the firm except to the providers that host this site and carry our email, or where the law requires it.
Children
This site is meant for a professional audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
The site is static, with no database and no logins, and it is served over an encrypted connection. Email is protected by the controls of Google Workspace. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it. Write to contact@advictoriam.co and we will answer, normally within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws hold these rights by statute, including the right to know what is collected, to have it deleted or corrected, and to opt out of the sale of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. As above, we do neither, so there is nothing to opt out of.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Do Not Track and opt-out signals
This site has no tracking to switch off, so a Do Not Track header or a Global Privacy Control signal changes nothing about how it behaves. It already does what those signals ask.
Links to other sites
Where we link to another organization, that organization's own privacy policy governs what happens once you leave this site.
Changes
If this site ever collects more than this page describes, the page changes first, and the date at the top changes with it.
